Resin Scraper was born of weed and beer by John Westhaver and Claudio Caciatti in late 1991. They enlisted John's wife Carol Lane and her brother Alex Lane and drummer Dave Fought and the band was born. Long story short over 9 years, 4 albums (3 released) and several 7' singles and numerous comp appearances, Resin Scraper ruled Ottawa's underground. Ron Lance, Todd Gibbon and Chris Page were also main guitarists in the band after Alex left. The group headlined many shows but also shared bills with New Bomb Turks, Redd Kross, Bellrays, Swinging Neckbreakers, Cell, Jeff Dahl, Candy Snatchers, Electric Frankenstein, Nashville Pussy, Ripcordz, The Chickens, Furnace Face, Punchbuggy, Dead City Rebels and tons more. We were fuelled on pot, booze and superb record collections. We loved our fans and they loved the band. These times will never be forgotten...We had a BLAST! R.A.F.R. !
